Q: How does this work? A: Project Lunch is a deliver/to-go only business specializing in crave-able and custom made salads and wraps delivered directly to you at your place of business. You can place your order here and specify your delivery day, your lunch preferences, and your delivery location. Your lunch will be delivered between 9am and 11:30am on your specified day.
Q: Will you deliver to my location? A: Email me, and we can discuss location options: sarah@projectlunch.biz
Q: Is there a minimum order amount to receive delivery to where I am? A: Yes, we ask that there is a $25 minimum purchase amount per order per location. If you have coworkers ordering as well, then you have met the minimum! The more, the better! This is a small business trying to grow and gas gets expensive!
Q: Can Project Lunch accommodate large groups? A: Yes! We can serve up to 50 individuals with at least 1-week notice. If you need more lunches, We will need more notice.
Q: Will you come to me on a different day than what's listed on the ordering page (Billings on Tuesday thru Friday; The Project on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Lame Deer Tuesday - Thursday)? A: Yes, as long as you have at least a $100 order.
Q: Will you deliver to my home? A: We will now. This was not something we did in the past, but COVID has changed the way we operate and the way you work. We are happy to deliver to your home on our delivery days.
Q: I'm Vegan and I don't see anything on your menu that I want. Can you make something else for me? A: Abso-freakin-lutely! Email me and let me know what you want and let me create something craveable!
Q: Why can't I order today for delivery today? A: We are super picky about freshness and don't keep a surplus of all ingredients on hand. We ask for 24 hours notice so I can procure supplies, prep them, and create your crave-able salad or wrap. Please reach out if you have a last minute order, we can usually accommodate those Tuesday - Thursday for pickup.
Q: Where do you get all of your ideas? A: Hmmm...Sometimes it's on a shopping trip, sometimes it's from me wondering if we can, sometimes it's because my in-laws are visiting and request risotto and I think "What do I always make with risotto?" and then I think, "My version of chicken cordon blue." Then I think, "How can I make that into a salad?"
Q: What time do you deliver? A: We start delivering around 9am and complete my deliveries around 11:30am. Please get those orders in early (24 hours or sooner) to ensure that you get your food before you get hungry!
Q: Where do you get your tortillas? A: We get our tortillas fresh from Trevino's right here in Billings, Montana! They are SO good and we exclusively use their whole wheat tortillas. They are the best around these parts...My husband's grandma just can't make them fast enough to provide them for me... When she sends me toritillas, he is lucky to get any at all.
Q: What is the white vegetable served with the wrap? A: Jicama according to merriam-webster.com it is an edible starch tuberous root of a tropical American vine (Pachyrhiizus erosus) of the legume family that is eaten raw or cooked. Think of it like a cross between a potato and an apple. Try it, you will like it.
Q: Where do you get your ingredients? A: We source as much as we can locally. My lettuce is from Swanky Roots. They are as passionate about fresh, healthy, and local ingredients as we are. Our Spinach, when available, is from Zac Earl Farms a local urban farm run by the sweetest lil family you'll ever meet. I recently started sourcing produce from Lady Kate's Garden in the heights. She has been a pillar of local produce in our community for many years. My Garbanzo Beans are from Maria's River Farms they are committed to providing a healthy future for us all. Our Lentils are from Farver Farms where they provide high quality, nutritious grains and mixes from their farm to your fork. Our Tortillas are from Trevino's a local family who makes amazing tortillas with pride. When ever possible, We source veggies and meats from local growers and producers from our GREAT State of Montana. When all else fails, We shop at Winco and Costco.
